The Consultation
The consultation is the most important time when considering plastic surgery. It is an individualized process that allows the you not only to relay aesthetic concerns, but to establish comfort with your surgeon. Consider the consultation as a journey taken together with your doctor. It is a learning process for you both. The doctor is learning about your goals and concerns and you learn about the underlying causes of aesthetic concerns and the various options we offer to correct them.
What to Bring?
Come prepared with questions, this is the perfect time to get answers and resolve any concerns you may be having. Also, be prepared to provide thorough information in regards to your medical history. For facial consultations we ask that you bring in personal photos from younger years to help identify changes that have occurred in the aging process and more importantly, the photos help to define our goals from a surgical procedure.
In the Consultation Room
When in the consult room you are asked to show the doctor the areas you would like to treat. This process allows you both to have an open discussion about your greatest concerns and allows the doctor the opportunity to explain what is causing the things that “bother” you.
After we have discussed the concerns and underlying causes of those concerns, we have a detailed discussion about the treatment options that will create the greatest improvement. We will also have a candid discussion about desires, recover time, and budget. The more discussion that occurs during the consultation the more comfortable our patients become, and, the better our doctors are able to provide a service that exceeds expectations.
If you have ever thought about getting a procedure, take the first step and come in for a consultation to become informed and comfortable with the options available.
The best outcomes are in patients that are well informed with realistic expectations. At FAC our team makes every effort to inform and support our patients throughout the surgical process. There is a reason we have been voted the Best Cosmetic Surgery Center in Orange County for 11 years!

What is Microneedling?
Microneedling involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles in order to induce the production of cutaneous collagen and elastin. Collagen induction can improve the texture of skin, including improvements in pore size, fine lines, and acne scarring. Thousands of microscopic channels are created in the skin to increase the formation of new tissue by activating the body’s wound healing process.
Microneedling improves:
- Pore size
- Crepey skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Collagen production
- Photodamage
- Light scarring
- Skin elasticityMost patients see improvement after just one treatment, but additional benefits will be seen after multiple sessions.
