Microneedling
During the treatment tiny micro-channels are created in the skin to stimulate new cell and collagen production, smoothing out contour irregularities and reducing discoloration left from previous breakouts. The skin heals very quickly, closing the micro-channels within the first day. A small amount of sloughing may occur post treatment for up to a week, but with moisturizer it is barely visible. NanoFractional
Nanofractional RF uses tiny needles, less than 1mm, to deliver multi polar radio frequency energy and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields to produce uniform heating in the skin’s surface. Fractional CO2
The Fractional CO2 is typically a one time treatment to diminish wrinkles and improve sun damage with minimal downtime. A laser with fractional technology, meaning its treats portions of the skin while keeping portions of the skin intact. It targets fine lines/wrinkles, sun damage, and melasma. The fractional CO2 laser energy heats up the tissue at the level of the dermis to stimulate new collagen and elastin and break up pigmentation.
Benefits: It is an exceptional treatment to improve the texture and quality of the skin. It is an excellent treatment option for brown spots, melasma, and finer lines and wrinkles. It does not have a substantial impact on redness, facial tightening, or deeper lines and wrinkles. Microneedling : What it is, What it’s not and Why you want it…
Microneedling has become quite the topic of discussion over the past few years, and even more so in the past few months. There is a lot of misunderstanding, as some are referring to it as the “vampire facial” based on a post by Kim Kardashian. With this said, we thought some clarity would be beneficial as we hope to not only educate our Facial Aesthetic Concepts community, but also highlight why Microneedling is a great non-invasive treatment that gives you the subtle, rejuvenated glowing skin. Reasons why Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts and other celebs are obsessed with this treatment.
What Microneedling is….
Microneedling is a technique that uses a needle studded wand to drive tiny holes into the skin to spur on collagen growth. There is no use of chemicals, topicals or lasers in this treatment. With microneedling, skin produces collagen to repair itself with no scarring, but instead giving you firmer, smoother, more hydrated skin with no flaking! This treatment has proven to reduce the appearance of fine line ,wrinkles, reduction in scars, pore size and stretch marks – improving texture and skin tone.
As lasers only affect the exterior layer of the skins epidermis, this treatment penetrates into the dermis to not only resurface the skin, but also to ignite a layer of collagen and elastin below the skins surface.
