8 months post-surgery – After having a child and competing in fitness competitions, whatever breasts I had, disappeared. After my first time stepping on stage and lacking the confidence I needed, I decided to go the route of augmentation. It was the best decision I had ever made. My doctor thoroughly explained the process and advised me on what he felt was best for my small frame and for the fact that I am very lean. He recommended going a little smaller in order to maintain a natural look, which is what I was going for. I am so happy I listened. The procedure itself did not take long at all. The first 2 days were a bit painful but after that I was able to do mostly everything on my own. One of my biggest fears was not being able to train fully. After about 4 weeks I was able to get back into some light cardio. And after about 6 weeks I was able to start lifting normally. I was able to step back on stage in October, winning 2nd place. Getting the augmentation is one decision I’ll never regret. 🙂
